PRecious Communications appoints Ng Chip Keng as senior VP to lead corporate, financial practice

Singapore – PRecious Communications has appointed industry veteran Ng Chip Keng as senior vice president to lead its corporate and financial practice, as the agency looks to strengthen its advisory capabilities across financial communications, crisis management and complex transactions.

Based in Singapore, Ng brings more than 30 years of experience spanning agency leadership and in-house communications roles. He will report to regional chief operating officer Joanna Ong and join the senior leadership team advising global and regional C-suite clients.

In his new role, Ng will focus on expanding the agency’s financial communications offering, advising organisations including banks, private equity firms, venture capitalists and family offices. His remit also covers communications support for financial transactions and investor relations, as well as oversight of issues and crisis management, litigation public relations, PR advisory and financial services marketing.

The appointment forms part of PRecious Communications’ broader growth strategy to scale its advisory services across the corporate, financial and professional sectors, amid increasing demand for specialised counsel in a complex operating environment.

“Our clients are facing a constant stream of noise, from geopolitics and regulation to trade and tariff shifts, all of which can obscure what truly matters,” said Lars Voedisch, founder and group CEO of PRecious Communications. “They need experienced advisors who can cut through that noise, identify the real signals, and help them act with clarity. Chip’s experience in complex, cross-border environments significantly strengthens how we support clients navigating risk and opportunity.”

Ng’s career includes senior leadership roles at global communications consultancies, alongside in-house positions that have given him exposure to corporate strategy and stakeholder engagement from the client side. He previously led branding and communications programmes at law firm RHTLaw Taylor Wessing and at multinational energy and urban development group Sembcorp Industries.

PRecious Communications said Ng’s combined agency and in-house experience provides a dual perspective on corporate reputation management, particularly in regulated industries and cross-border contexts. The agency operates across Greater Southeast Asia and works with clients in sectors including finance, technology, professional services and energy.

The company added that Ng’s appointment reflects ongoing investment in senior talent as it responds to heightened demand for strategic communications advice amid geopolitical uncertainty, regulatory change and increasingly complex business environments.
