The Goodtime Hotel, Miami Beach, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, located in a central, historic section of South Beach, announces the appointment of Arnelda Broadaway as director of sales & marketing. A seasoned hospitality and events executive, Broadaway brings more than 20 years of experience in luxury catering sales, event strategy and brand activations across premier hotel properties nationwide. She has consistently delivered outstanding results, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and building long-term client partnerships across the hospitality, sports, entertainment and corporate sectors.

Broadaway’s expertise spans every facet of the meetings and events space, from strategy and sales to production and client engagement. She has successfully led conferences, galas, brand activations and high-stakes meetings for Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and nonprofit organizations. Her experience includes playing a key role in relaunching the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach, where she managed several high-profile events, including the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and the NFL Pro Bowl. She also led sales and event strategy at the InterContinental Washington D.C. – The Wharf, where she earned top performance honors.

Known for her attention to detail and collaborative approach, Broadaway has consistently earned praise for her flawless execution and ability to anticipate client needs. At The Goodtime, Arnelda oversees guest experiences and manages the property’s extensive meeting and event spaces. In addition to her work in hospitality, Broadaway is a dedicated community leader. She currently serves as senior project manager for Hope for Tomorrow, volunteers with the Udonis Haslem Foundation, and is a passionate mental health advocate through NAMI Baltimore. In 2023, she was appointed by Governor Wes Moore as director of scheduling for the State of Maryland, further demonstrating her leadership in both public service and industry. Broadaway was recognized as one of the “Top 50 Women We Admire in Maryland” in 2024 and 2025 for her outstanding contributions to business and community.
