Legacy Senior Living promotes Clevenger to director of sales, marketing | News

Legacy Senior Living has announced the promotion of Christina Clevenger to the position of director of sales and marketing for the Legacy division.

With 13 years of experience in the senior living industry, Clevenger’s career has been marked by a deep commitment to providing quality care, operational excellence and creating meaningful environments for seniors to thrive.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Clevenger graduated from Lee University in 2015 with a degree in communications. She began her career in senior living in 2012 and was hired by Legacy Senior Living in 2016 as the public relations coordinator. When Legacy Village of Cleveland opened in 2018, she was promoted to their director of sales and marketing and helped fill the 71-unit community to 100% occupancy within 7 months.

Upon completing Legacy’s Administration in Training program in 2019, Clevenger was again promoted to executive director of Legacy Village of Cleveland in 2020. After the birth of her fourth and fifth children, Clevenger took some time off and eventually returned in September 2024 as the director of marketing and public relations for Legacy Senior Living and its sister division, Dominion Senior Living. Now serving as director of sales and marketing in the Legacy Senior Living division, Clevenger will be overseeing the sales and marketing efforts for Legacy’s 18 communities.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the sales leaders, executive directors and ultimately the residents of Legacy Senior Living. Sales and marketing in the senior living industry is special because I fully believe in what I’m selling,” Clevenger said. “What we do has a positive impact on not only our residents, but their families as well. My goal is to give seniors the opportunity to live their golden years stress-free, allowing primary caregivers the chance to take the title of ‘child’ or ‘friend’ again, permitting us to be the primary caregiver of their loved ones.”

“Christina has proven her leadership and her passion for serving seniors over and over, and it is with great confidence that we know she will succeed in this role,” said Doug Veazey, COO of Legacy Senior Living. “We are certain that she will continue to strengthen our communities and enrich the lives of the residents and families we serve.”

Clevenger and her husband, Zach, and their five children now reside in Knoxville, where they serve on staff as executive pastors at Park West Church. She loves spending time with her family, and you can often find her enjoying nature, reading a book or solving a puzzle.
